About this Role

UNRWA Syria seeks Health Centre Pharmacists to dispense medicines and provide pharmaceutical care at UNRWA health centres across Syria, serving Palestinian refugee patients. The role ensures safe medication management within UNRWA's primary healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and counsel patients on correct usage
  • Manage pharmacy stock, monitor expiry dates, and maintain inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with UNRWA formulary and procurement guidelines
  • Identify and report adverse drug reactions or medication errors
  • Advise clinical staff on drug interactions and pharmaceutical queries
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and secure pharmacy environment

Requirements

  • Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution
  • Valid registration with the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate
  • Experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Fluent Arabic; English an asset for technical documentation
