Support Services Associate — ICS-06

UNOPS Syria seeks a Support Services Associate (ICS-06) to ensure operational integrity and accountability of organisational resources for UNMAS Syria. The role manages asset lifecycles and logistics operations, collaborating with procurement and finance teams to maintain compliance with international standards.

• Inspect equipment and complete receipt/inspection reports
• Register assets in UNOPS systems, apply barcodes, and track assets throughout their lifespan
• Coordinate annual asset verification and spot checks
• Manage Right of Use agreements for contractors
• Implement vehicle booking systems for personnel transportation
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules, records, and fuel consumption tracking
• Conduct facility inspections and recommend maintenance actions
• Assist with customs clearance procedures

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 2 years relevant experience, OR High school diploma with 6 years experience
• 2+ years experience in logistics, assets, or vehicle operations
• Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools
• Fluent in English and Arabic (both required)
• Experience in multicultural or UN system organisation desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
