The International Association for Relief and Development (ONSUR) is a non-governmental organization established in early 2012 and registered in Syria. The Programs Coordinator plays a crucial strategic and operational role within the team, establishing structured project management processes, standardizing tools, and driving overall project quality.
This position serves as a vital bridge between the Head of Programs, Program Coordinator and the Project Managers. The primary focus is to oversee and follow up on project implementation, ensure compliance with established project management standards through ongoing mentorship, and review and approve project plans. The ideal candidate brings rich field experience in project implementation, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to fostering collaborative growth while actively managing and leading the project management team.

Education: Advanced degree in related field or equivalent.
Experience: 05 years experience in project implementation, preferably within the humanitarian or development sector in Syria.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of project management principles. PMD Pro 1 certification is essential, while a PMD Pro 2 certification is considered a strong added value.
Approach: Proven experience in coaching and capacity building through practical, on-the-job guidance and peer-to-peer mentoring, rather than top-down training.
Communication & Language: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex relationships and effectively bridge different management tiers. A strong level of English proficiency is preferable and considered an added value.
Attributes: Highly dedicated, solution-oriented, organized, and capable of navigating complex operational environments.
Experience working in emergency settings.
Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed structure.
Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
Excellent training and coaching ability.
Ability to travel to remote field offices.
