We are actively seeking a qualified and experienced HR Trainer to design and deliver a comprehensive, practical training program for the HR team at Action For Humanity (AFH) committed to principled, people-centered operations. If you are a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise in the INGO/NGO sector and a passion for building high-performing, compliant, and safeguarding-conscious HR functions, this opportunity is for you.

About the Assignment

You will lead a fully structured HR Capacity Building Training Program targeting at least 70% of AFH HR staff, delivered either in-person, online, or in a blended format as mutually agreed with the organization.

  • INGO Donor Compliance & HR Reporting Standards.

Success Indicator: A measurable improvement in knowledge across key HR functions demonstrated through pre- and post-training assessments.

What You Will Deliver

Deliverables Include:

  • Training work plan, session agenda & delivery methodology (submitted prior to delivery).
  • Full training materials, HR templates & function-specific practical exercises.
  • Pre- and post-training assessment tools with scored results.
  • Attendance records and signed participation sheets.
  • Final training report with results analysis and actionable recommendations.

Expected Outcomes:

  • HR team operating in an integrated, coordinated manner across all key functions.
  • Strengthened recruitment, contract management, performance, and policy practices.
  • Safeguarding/PSEA and donor compliance embedded in routine HR processes.
  • Measurable knowledge gains evidenced by pre/post assessment score comparisons.

Who We Are Looking For

You are the right fit if you have:

  • A recognized HR certification — CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior HR professional experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Safeguarding/PSEA and INGO donor compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience advising on recruitment, contracts, performance management, and HR policy.
  • A proven track record of similar capacity-strengthening assignments.
  • Strong command of English and Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage.

Assignment Details

  • Duration: One (1) month from contract signing date.
  • Work Schedule: As per agreed training work plan and session schedule.
  • Delivery Mode In-person and/or online, to be stated in the session agenda & online delivery methodology.
  • Payment: Fixed, all-inclusive fee (covering trainer fee, preparation, materials, delivery & reporting. Subject to applicable tax/withholding per local law).
