MEAL Team Member - Alraqa

General Objective of the Position:

To conduct field monitoring, data collection, and field verification activities through site visits and direct interviews with beneficiaries and other stakeholders. The role is responsible for gathering feedback, complaints, suggestions, and beneficiary satisfaction data, while verifying the quality and accuracy of program implementation. The position contributes to ensuring the availability of reliable and accurate information that supports Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) processes, under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer and in compliance with humanitarian standards, organizational policies, and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the direct supervisor regarding the verification plans, given instructions, tasks, and any challenges encountered in implementation.
• Visit targeted locations to monitor the implementation.
• Conduct interviews with targeted families and collect data using approved tools.
• Review documents provided by targeted families and compare them with the recorded information.
• Assess the conditions of targeted families to determine their eligibility for assistance.
• Ensure that there is no duplication or fraud in benefiting from humanitarian programs.
• Document monitoring and interview results and prepare the required daily reports.
• Submit reports to the direct supervisor.
• Collect feedback from targeted families and share the information with them.
• Adhere to the organization's policies, humanitarian principles, and data confidentiality while executing tasks.
• Perform any other duties as required by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications (Education/Work Experience):

Essential Qualifications:

• At least a high school.
• Knowledge of data collection and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in data collection.

Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of data collection applications (Kobo, ..).
• Acceptable level of computer literacy.
