Un Ponte Per (UPP), an Italian NGO that has been one of the leading INGOs in Syria since 2015, is seeking a Country Admin to oversee financial and administrative management for the Syria mission. The position will be based across Damascus, Aleppo, and Amuda, with a monthly salary range of €2,500–3,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide financial supervision of UPP general accounts (project, office, and mission) in Syria
- Ensure compliance with UPP's Anti-Fraud, Anti-Terrorism, and Anti-Corruption policies and in-country financial laws
- Support the Head of Administrative Department at HQ in preparing Syria mission's yearly financial forecast and monitor allocations
- Support external and internal audits and micro-assessments preparation
- Provide logistical support to projects, offices, and the mission; develop appropriate templates and working processes
- Monitor overall financial and logistical management of Syria mission offices
- Identify and flag financial shortfalls or overspends and propose corrective measures
- Organize regular meetings with relevant staff to monitor financial performance and identify cross-cutting issues
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial and administrative management with an NGO or international organisation
- Experience working in complex humanitarian contexts, particularly in Syria or the Middle East
- Strong knowledge of NGO financial management standards, donor compliance, and audit processes
- Fluency in English required; Arabic and/or Italian is a strong asset
- Willingness to be based across multiple locations in Syria (Damascus, Aleppo, Amuda)
