Pharmacist (Idlib – Al-Dana PHC)

MedGlobal is seeking a qualified Pharmacist for its Primary Health Care (PHC) facility in Al-Dana, Idlib, Syria. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug consultations, and managing pharmacy stock and records at the health centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide drug consultations to health centre patients
• Receive and deliver prescriptions to patients and explain treatment guidelines
• Receive drugs and medical supplies from the warehouse and manage pharmacy stock following warehousing policies
• Establish and maintain pharmacy records including bin cards, consumption reports, and damage/loss reports
• Prepare periodic reports and share with the line manager/technical supervisor
• Maintain pharmacy equipment and supplies

Requirements

• University degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a pharmacist or pharmacist assistant
• Previous experience in pharmacy chains, stores, or humanitarian health facilities
• Proficiency in dealing with various medications and healthcare databases/applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to keep detailed records
• Problem-solving skills and empathy with patients
• Must be eligible to work in Syria
