About this Role

INSO seeks Assistant Safety Advisors to support humanitarian operations across Syria. Working under a Safety Advisor's supervision, the role involves information collection, verification, and data management in support of INSO's safety services to NGO partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and input information into INSO's conflict and humanitarian data systems (CHDC)
  • Liaise with NGO partners and facilitate field monitoring coordination
  • Support security analysis and preparation of regular safety reports
  • Assist with database management and information tracking
  • Contribute to field assessments and partner briefings

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security analysis, humanitarian coordination, or information management
  • Strong analytical and report-writing abilities
  • Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Security Studies, or related field
  • Field assessment experience is an advantage
  • National staff position — must be legally eligible to work in Syria
