About this Role

NRC is looking for a Logistics Adviser to oversee procurement and operational procedures for NRC Syria, supporting programme implementation and strengthening logistics capacity across country offices.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance across NRC Syria offices
Conduct bid reviews and maintain monitoring reports for all country offices
Train and build capacity of logistics teams across Syria
Improve system efficiency and develop logistics procedures
Ensure SIP minimum standards are incorporated into logistics activities
Support programme implementation through effective supply chain management

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of senior logistics experience in humanitarian contexts
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
Experience in complex and volatile operating contexts
Supply chain management and compliance expertise
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Syria
