Humanitarian Response Coordinator — Aleppo

Trócaire seeks a Humanitarian Response Coordinator to coordinate implementation of humanitarian projects in Northeast Syria with local partners, based in Aleppo. One-year fixed-term hybrid contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of humanitarian projects in Northeast Syria with local partners
• Monitor partner progress through regular in-person follow-ups and ensure compliance with humanitarian standards
• Develop and lead Trócaire's humanitarian response strategy and protection programs
• Manage multi-donor budgets and ensure proper reporting and compliance
• Conduct regular monitoring visits to partner offices and program areas
• Represent Trócaire at cluster coordination meetings and protection working groups

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Humanitarian studies or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in humanitarian program delivery in insecure environments
• 3+ years' project coordination experience
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and oral)
• Experience with protection programming, cash assistance, and donor fund management
• Knowledge of humanitarian standards including Sphere, HAP, and protection mainstreaming
