About this Role
ACF International (Action Against Hunger) seeks an FSL Head of Project to lead Food Security and Livelihoods project implementation at its base level in Hama.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of FSL projects aligned with approved plans and budgets
- Supervise FSL Officers and field teams while ensuring adherence to organisational standards
- Support strategic planning, project design, and donor compliance activities
- Conduct sectoral analysis and strengthen needs assessments
- Manage beneficiary selection, design livelihood trainings, and supervise field implementation
- Represent ACF in coordination forums and stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Agriculture, Economics, Food Security, or related field
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Technical expertise in food security, livelihoods, market systems, cash-based programming, and value chains
- Knowledge of INGO procedures and donor guidelines
Contract: 6 months, renewable based on funding and performance
