About this Role

Relief International seeks a PSS Assistant to implement psychosocial support activities under the supervision of protection and MHPSS officers in Hasaka/Shadadi, Deir ez-Zor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group PSS sessions and perform intake assessments
  • Facilitate group counselling sessions and psychoeducation activities
  • Collect and accurately record activity data
  • Participate in regular team meetings and required training
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Work or Psychology
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing adult group activities
  • Experience in psychosocial support programming and knowledge of IASC mental health guidelines
  • Familiarity with protection issues affecting vulnerable populations
  • Fluent Arabic; Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency required
