Data Entry Officer — Northeast Syria
About this Role
Relief International seeks a Data Entry Officer for its health programme in Northeast Syria, based in Al-Hasakah with field travel to collective centres for displaced persons. The officer collects and records patient demographic data for a Mobile Medical Unit operating across the governorate, ensuring data quality and confidentiality for reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
- Collect and accurately enter patient registration and demographic data for the Mobile Medical Unit
- Maintain organised, complete, and confidential data records
- Conduct data quality checks and flag inconsistencies to supervisors
- Travel to field sites including collective centres and displacement sites in Al-Hasakah
- Prepare regular data summaries and reports for programme teams
- Support M&E staff with data exports and database management
Requirements
- Secondary education or diploma; university degree preferred
- Proven data entry experience with strong MS Excel and MS Access skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability and willingness to travel to field sites in Al-Hasakah governorate
- Fluent Arabic required; English an asset
- Understanding of data confidentiality principles
